The main objective of this activity is to identify appropriate emerging middleware services from the global Grid initiative and define priorities for the placement of such services in the OMII-Europe repository.

The first phase was accomplished and the selected capability to be developed during the second year of the project is an information model for computing resources and the related implementations for the OGSA-BES services developed mainly by gLite, UNICORE and Globus. The JRA2 will actively contribute to the OGF GLUE Working Group in order to achieve this goal.
